Day 1: New Delhi to Varanasi (Arrival) Transfer to hotel & Evening visit to see Ganga Aarti
Train Schedule- 22436: New Delhi to Varanasi Junction (Vande Bharat Express | Departure: 0600 hours - Arrival: 1400 hours)
Today early morning board Vande Bharat train, which will take 8 hours to reach Varanasi (Tea / Snacks and meals shall be served on the train as per fixed menu plan by Indian railways). On your arrival at railway station, our local representative will meet and transfer you to the hotel. After being welcomed at hotel lobby, check in and relax in your room.
Varanasi formerly known as Benares, is the most popular pilgrimage point for the Hindus and one of the seven holiest cities. Considered as the abode of Lord Shiva, Varanasi is situated on the banks of River Ganges, which is believed to have the power of washing away all of one's sins.
In the evening, visit Ghats crossing local market and witness the evening Aarti Ceremony on the Ganges. "Agni Pooja" (Worship to Fire) is performed by a group of priests wherein the dedication is made to Lord Shiva, River Ganga (the Ganges), Surya (Sun), Agni (Fire), and the whole universe. Later return to the hotel and relax.
